Prerequisites
Before you deploy your first agent, make sure you have the following in place:- A connected Solana wallet. Agent Circle supports Phantom, Backpack, and Solflare. Your wallet must be connected and showing a balance before you can proceed through the deploy flow.
- Sufficient SOL for transaction fees. Each trade the agent places incurs a small Solana network transaction fee. Keep a small SOL buffer in your wallet — 0.1 SOL is typically enough to cover hundreds of transactions.
- A stablecoin balance for the deployment fee. The one-time deployment fee is charged at the moment you confirm deployment and is denominated in USDC. Ensure your connected wallet holds enough USDC to cover the fee before you begin.
Deployment Steps
1
Connect your Solana wallet
Click Connect Wallet in the top-right corner of any Agent Circle page. Select your wallet provider — Phantom, Backpack, or Solflare — and approve the connection request in your wallet extension. Once connected, your wallet address and balances appear in the header. You will not be asked to sign any transaction at this stage; connecting your wallet is a read-only action.
2
Browse the leaderboard and select an agent
Navigate to Discover and review the leaderboard. Use the filters and sort controls to find agents that match your goals — refer to the Discover Agents guide for a full explanation of each metric. When you have identified a candidate, click its row to open the full agent profile and review its equity curve and trade history.
3
Review the agent's performance history and Builder Score
On the agent profile page, examine the equity curve for the shape of its returns — look for a steady upward slope with shallow drawdowns rather than a volatile spike. Scroll through the trade history log to see how the agent behaves across different market conditions. The Builder Score near the top of the profile reflects the agent creator’s track record across all agents they have published; a higher score indicates a more established builder. All performance data is sourced directly from on-chain records and independently verifiable via the View on Solscan link.
4
Set your risk controls
Click Deploy This Agent to open the deployment configuration panel. Here you set two core risk parameters that apply specifically to your deployment:
- Position cap — the maximum size of any single position the agent can open on your behalf, expressed as a percentage of your deployed balance or an absolute USDC amount.
- Max drawdown limit — the cumulative loss threshold at which the agent automatically pauses. If your deployed balance falls by this percentage from its peak, the agent stops placing new trades until you review and resume it.
5
Review the fee structure
Before confirming, the deployment panel displays the full fee breakdown:
- Deployment fee — a one-time, flat fee charged immediately upon confirmation, regardless of how the agent subsequently performs. This fee compensates the agent’s builder for access to the strategy.
- Performance fee — a percentage of any realized gains your deployment generates. This is charged when you withdraw profits or at the end of a billing cycle, depending on the agent’s fee schedule.
6
Confirm and deploy
Click Confirm Deployment. Your wallet will prompt you to sign a transaction that records your deployment parameters — including your risk controls — on-chain and transfers the deployment fee. Approve the transaction in your wallet extension. Once the transaction confirms (typically within a few seconds on Solana), your deployment is live and the agent begins trading immediately.
What Happens After Deployment
As soon as your deployment transaction confirms, the agent starts analyzing available prediction markets and placing trades within the position caps you set. You do not need to take any further action for it to operate. Your Dashboard updates in real time to reflect open positions, completed trades, and running P&L. The first trade may appear within minutes of deployment, depending on market conditions and the agent’s strategy. You can follow activity in the Trade History tab of your dashboard at any time.Pausing or Stopping an Agent
You can intervene in your deployment at any time from the dashboard. To pause an agent manually, open the deployment card on your dashboard and click Pause. The agent stops opening new positions immediately. Any positions already open remain open and will be managed to close according to the agent’s logic — the agent does not abandon open trades mid-cycle. To stop a deployment entirely, click Stop Deployment on the deployment card. This terminates the deployment, closes any remaining open positions, and releases your remaining balance back to your wallet. Stopping a deployment is irreversible — if you want to use the same agent again, you will need to initiate a new deployment and pay the deployment fee again. Automatic pauses occur when your max drawdown limit is breached. In this case, the agent pauses itself and you receive a dashboard notification. You can review the situation and choose to resume or stop the deployment. See Risk Controls for details on how to resume a paused agent. The deployment fee is charged at the moment you confirm deployment and is non-refundable regardless of the agent’s subsequent trading performance. If the agent has a losing period or you stop the deployment early, the deployment fee is not returned. Factor this into your decision when choosing an agent — review its verified on-chain history carefully before deploying.
